This Cookie Policy explains how ICON X uses cookies and similar technologies on icon-x.org, what choices you have, and how we record them.

For any privacy-related request, contact us at alina.oenning@icon-x.org.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used, and we set those only with your consent.
These cookies are required for the site to function and to remember your privacy choices. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
iconx_consent: stores your cookie preferences, the date of your choice, the policy version and a random consent ID. First party. Duration: 6 months.
Our hosting platform (Webflow) may set technical cookies needed for security and correct delivery of the site.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits and improve the site. These cookies are set only if you click "Accept" or enable Analytics in your preferences.
_ga: distinguishes unique visitors. Duration: 2 years.
G-PT93VVB1RZ: keeps the session state. Duration: 2 years.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or profiling, and we do not share analytics data with Google for advertising purposes.
We use Google Consent Mode. If you reject analytics cookies, no analytics cookies are stored on your device. Google may still receive limited, cookieless technical signals (for example, that a page was loaded), which cannot be used to identify you.
Data processed by Google may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
To be able to demonstrate your choice, as required by Article 7(1) GDPR, we keep a record each time you accept, reject or change your preferences. The record contains only:
a random consent ID generated in your browser
the choice made (accepted, rejected, customised or withdrawn)
the version of this policy
the date and time
We do not record your IP address, browser details or any other information that directly identifies you. Records are stored in a Google Workspace environment managed by the data controller and are deleted automatically after 24 months.
The legal basis for this processing is our legal obligation to demonstrate consent (Article 6(1)(c) and Article 7(1) GDPR).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics cookies are removed from your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
We ask for your consent again after 6 months, or earlier if this policy changes significantly.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability.
To request the deletion of your consent records, send us the Consent ID shown in your Cookie preferences panel at alina.oenning@icon-x.org.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. The current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page. When changes are significant, we will ask for your consent again.
